Had some fun due to extra time - shot a double classifier again and then shot two poppers for time and then a man vs man shoot-off - one popper, one plate in an elimination match.

Scores are on the forum, in addition to being posted to USPSA.

Zombie Shoot Scoring is up...

Man, last night made me feel like I was in the Harold and Kumar flicks - our usual place for pizza was closed and the only thing open were bars that weren't serving food. We finally got the bar owner to let us order pizza from down the street, but when we tried to call Domino's and Rosati's, they were all closed. I finally skipped out and on the way home ordered a pie from Rosati's in Crysatl Lake which was baking until 12... Good to know.

Anyway - Shoot was, um, "interesting to say the least": Folks with night sights did better than folks without. Muzzle flash from .45 is mild compared to .40.

I suddenly have new found respect for the "survivors" of zombie movies!

ZOMBIE SHOOT and Back to Back Matches!!

We're running a Halloween match on October 30th - Expect Zombie Targets and some other surprises.

After that, we'll pick up shooting the following week, Nov. 6th, due to Holida schedules, etc...

Come on out!

We ran "El Presidente" as our qualifier - simple fun, and a good way to get back into it after the summer.

After that, we ran a fun stage starting with the gun in a "drawer" with some steel!

Fun indeed...

2008-2009 Season...

Hi Folks,

We'll start shooting at HP on October 2nd. Setups around 6 and start slinging lead between 6:30 and 7. We'll run 2 stages, as always.

Membership will jump to $30.00 for the year and matches will run $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.

End of Season Match and "Banquet"

Tonight is the last MISS shoot for the 2007-2008 season...

We'll be celebrating the end to this season at Bimbo's Italian Grill, just down the street from the Foxhole, where we regularly met. (Many thanks to Dominick and the Staff for staying later to accomodate us!)

Tonight we ran "99-13" as a classifier - weak hand/strong hand shooting on 3 targets...

Our resident guru/RO showed up with a great t-shirt too!

After that, we ran "spare tire" simulating a tire change and engaging 4 targets over a makeshift car...

There are three more matches this season.

McHenry Passes Pro-Second Amendment Resolution!

The Illinois Second Amendment Resolution passed unanimously (23-0) at the McHenry County Board meeting last night!

McHenry Co. is officially the 1st "collar county" and the 75th county to pass the resolution!
